“Ukraine was pumped with weapons”

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, commenting on the situation in Ukraine in an interview with the Radio and Television of the Republika Srpska television company, said that hundreds of CIA and British intelligence officers have been working on Ukrainian territory for about ten years.

“Ukraine was pumped up with weapons, hundreds of CIA and British intelligence officers worked there.

I think they have been there for ten years already, occupying huge premises in the buildings of official Ukrainian services and agencies, ”TASS quoted him as saying.

As the minister noted, the West, refusing Russia's proposals and compromises, justified the worst fears and "in practice, Ukraine created a springboard in order to threaten and restrain the Russian Federation."

“That is why we are left with no other choice but to recognize these republics.

The LPR and DPR were supposed to receive a special status from Ukraine and remain part of Ukraine.

In relation to them, the Ukrainian armed forces, national battalions continued their aggressive line, daily shelling, ”he stressed.

Lavrov added that Ukraine has become a bargaining chip and a tool manipulated primarily by the United States and Great Britain.
