A spacecraft carrying three astronauts involved in the construction of China's own space station was launched on the 5th.

We will proceed with the final stage of work toward the completion of the space station underway.

According to the state-run China Central Television, a Chinese manned spacecraft "Shenzhou 14" was launched from the Sake Fountain Satellite Launch Center in the inland area at 11:40 am on the 5th of Japan time.



The spacecraft entered its planned orbit approximately 10 minutes later, and the project manager announced that the launch was successful.

Three male and female astronauts aboard the spacecraft will stay at the space station for half a year, and will connect the two experimental facilities to be launched in the future to the core facility, aiming for the completion of the space station underway. The final stage of work is to proceed.



China, which aims to become a "space powerhouse" that leads the world's space development, is accelerating space development by conducting unmanned exploration of the Moon and Mars, and wants to give a big impetus to the completion of the space station.
