A French man set a Guinness World Record for bungee jumping more than 700 times in 24 hours.

According to foreign media such as the British Guardian on the 1st local time, François Marie DiVon (44) jumped 765 times from the Fling Bungy Jump in Highland, Perthshire, central Scotland on the same day, breaking the record for the most bungee jumps in 24 hours.

The previous record holder was Mike Heard, who jumped 430 times over the Auckland Harbor Bridge in New Zealand in May 2017.

DiVon started her bungee jump at 10:10 a.m. on the 31st of last month, and completed her 431st jump around 10:30 p.m. about 12 hours later, breaking her previous world record.

After taking a 50-minute break, Divon set a record by jumping all night until 10 am the next day.

Mr. Dibon jumped off a 40m high jump once every 1 minute and 53 seconds on average, and continued the challenge while eating only water, rice, ham and candy for 24 hours.

The 15 staff members of the Highland Fling Bungy Team worked in shifts to help Divon continue bungee jumping.

In order to prevent Divon from dehydration, water was handed in the middle, and equipment was thoroughly checked and managed so that he could run safely.

Divonne, a French actuary working in Sweden, did her first bungee jump 11 years ago to overcome her fear of heights, and planned this challenge five years ago, and has been training for the past few months.

He suffered similar to seasickness during bungee jumping last March, but has been working out at the gym for more than 25 hours a week, cardio and core exercises, and breathing techniques to get his body in top shape.

In an interview with The Guardian after breaking the world record, Dibon said, "I feel very good and happy." said.

He continued, "The most difficult part of bungee jumping was the weather. It was raining and it was quite chilly, but other than this, there were no major difficulties. Luckily, everything went smoothly."

Finally, he said, "I would not have reached this record without the support of the Highland Fling Bungy team."

Guinness World Records judge Joanne Brent, who verified Mr. DiVon's record on the spot, said, "I was moved by Mr. DiVon's positive attitude, concentration, and support from the Bungie team."
