Police and prosecutors appear to be linking the investigation into the shooting at a restaurant in Sävja on Sunday night where a man was shot.

Yesterday, a 20-year-old man was arrested on probable cause on suspicion of a felony.

- A weapon has been found that can be linked to the incident, which was sent to the National Forensic Center, NFC, for analysis, says Victoria Engelkes, chamber prosecutor, who is leading the investigation.

The prosecutor had chosen not to request that the man be detained even for attempted murder.

- He is still suspected of attempted murder - but I judged that the evidence is still so weak that it would not be enough for an arrest, the prosecutor says.

On Tuesday, another suspect was arrested for involvement in the shooting, and yesterday another.

They too are men in their 20s and they are suspected of aiding and abetting attempted murder.

The shooting on Sunday was the second in a month at the exact same place in Sävja.
