The Director of the Energy Transmission Department, Engineer Hamad Al Tunaiji, told «Emirates Today», that the authority seeks to develop operational and technical operations, which work to monitor the electrical network of the city of Sharjah and provide operating and maintenance requirements to reduce and prevent malfunctions by conducting all necessary technical maneuvers for this, in addition to reviewing And implement maintenance programs, develop and improve the electrical network, and deal with some emergency cases of power outages as soon as possible.
He stressed that all work of replacement, renewal, maintenance and modifications depends on the application of modern maintenance concepts, which include preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure high operational efficiency with the highest levels of safety for employees and at the lowest costs.
The authority confirmed that all maintenance teams are ready, prepared and working 24 hours a day to face any emergency situations in all regions of the Emirate of Sharjah. The best technical competencies, training and qualification, to work in the maintenance departments and take into account the highest safety and quality systems at work to meet any emergency conditions.
