She noted that during a recent conversation with her, Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy confirmed that Russian tourists can freely pay for services with a MIR card in almost all Turkish hotels.
“In Turkey today, a significant part of the infrastructure accepts the MIR card,” TASS quoted her as saying.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia and Turkey had agreed to start accepting the MIR card in Turkish hotels, as well as to increase its use at ATMs.
