The article says that after the announcement of the sixth package of EU anti-Russian sanctions, some European countries will experience serious problems with energy resources this winter.

The publication also notes that the “pathetic bubble of Western solidarity” burst before the EU announced new sanctions.

The article quotes German Economy Minister Robert Habeck as saying that EU unity is “starting to crumble” as some countries oppose restrictions.

The author added that there are growing signs that "the Western coalition against Moscow is fragile and wears out when its members have to bear practical losses."

“The West may argue that its sanctions are working, but mounting evidence suggests otherwise: the US and EU are losing the economic war against Russia,” the author of the article wrote.

Earlier, Maxim Oreshkin, an assistant to the Russian president for economic affairs, said in an interview with RT that several crises overlapping each other created a kind of “perfect storm”.

Oreshkin confirmed that in addition to the food crisis as such, crises with electricity, fuel and fertilizers are currently raging in the world.
