“However, these legal restrictions, as we see, are not an obstacle to Washington in its unbridled desire to pump weapons to Kyiv,” the Foreign Ministry said.

The department noted that the Russian side has repeatedly drawn the attention of American colleagues to the unacceptability of neglecting treaty and contractual obligations.

At the same time, the Russian Embassy in the United States did not receive any clear explanations from the State Department.

“The Americans, again and again going beyond the bounds of decency, tell us that their actions are “in line with national interests and legislation,” and all their multibillion-dollar military assistance to Kyiv is allegedly defensive in nature,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

This behavior of the United States is a blatant example of the policy of "double standards", stressed in Moscow.
