In Texas the small town of Uvalde has begun to bury its dead.
The hour of mourning but also the time for questions about the intervention of the police which took more than an hour to neutralize the killer.
Police also come under fire for spreading information that is now proving inaccurate, such as that back door to the school a teacher allegedly left open when the door was securely closed.

Friday in full press conference of the police of Uvalde implicated a teacher explaining that she had offered an entry point to the shooter by leaving open the back door of the school.
Five days later, the police backtracked.
In reality, from the first shots this teacher closed the door, but this door did not lock as expected.
This is what videos seen by the investigators show.
And once again it is the story of the police of Uvalde which is undermined.
This police, already intensely criticized for
their intervention during the killing
, is also criticized for having multiplied false information: after having spoken of an exchange of fire with the killer before he entered the school, the authorities explain that these shots never took place.
Also no bulletproof vest on the killer as the police had mistakenly announced.
And still no results from his autopsy.
After being celebrated as heroes by the governor of Texas, the Uvalde police officers are now accused by their own hierarchy of having made the wrong decision for choosing
to wait 78 long minutes
to enter the classroom and neutralize the killer.
A decision by Chief Arredondo, who decided to no longer respond to the press or the investigators.
