Employees of the anti-corruption prosecutor's office seize documents in the office of the Party of Socialists of Moldova, as the former leader of the socialists, ex-president Igor Dodon is accused of illegally financing political formations.
This was reported to RIA Novosti by the head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Marianna Kerpek.
“The operation is part of an investigation into the illegal financing of a political party,” she said.
On May 31, a court in Moldova upheld the decision to place Igor Dodon under house arrest.
