According to the Shanxi Provincial Emergency Management Department, on May 10, 2022, a transportation accident occurred in the Sanjiao Coal Mine of Shanxi Coal and Taigang Energy Co., Ltd. in which a wellhead cage and an electric locomotive were crushed and one person died.
On May 12, another roof accident occurred in the mine in which the roof fell during the underground construction of the centralized auxiliary transportation alley, resulting in 1 death and 1 injury.
The mine is a construction mine and is now affiliated to Shanxi Coking Coal Group.
The two accidents in the mine were concealed accidents, reflecting that the person in charge of the coal mining enterprise and related personnel ignored national laws and regulations, and ignored the safety of miners.
The two concealed incidents were investigated and dealt with in strict accordance with the principles of "four do not let go" and "scientific and rigorous, in accordance with laws and regulations, seeking truth from facts, and focusing on practical results", so as to be strict, serious and quick, especially for the organization and participation of Units and personnel who conceal accidents shall be strictly investigated according to the upper limit of relevant regulations; for suspected crimes, they shall be held in accordance with the "Safety Production Law", "Criminal Law Amendment (11)" and "Production Safety Accident Reporting, Investigation and Handling Regulations", etc. According to the provisions of laws and regulations, accountability shall be pursued in accordance with the law.
