Robotic process automation improves DEWA's productivity

The robotic process automation project at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has achieved remarkable results in terms of improving processes, productivity, data accuracy, speeding up procedures, reducing costs and saving operations time with a total equivalent to 40,000 hours until 2021. Through the project, the authority aims to automate work procedures based on artificial intelligence techniques. Simulate the actions and tasks that the employee performs frequently, and dispense with routine tasks.


The Robotic Process Automation project includes a set of initiatives, including the automation of updating the development of vulnerabilities in security servers;

automating the process of monitoring the storage service for the data of the Authority’s virtual employee based on artificial intelligence “Rammas” and automating the process of requesting work permits;

automation of a GIS monitoring system;

automating the procedures for bank guarantees "bank offers";

automating information security processes to survey the authority's scope;

and others.
