For the Platinum Jubilee, which from June 2 to 5 celebrates 70 years of reign of Queen Elizabeth II, the British royal family has announced the launch of an emoji and a filter specially created for the occasion.

These new features are intended, as BFM TV reports, to allow Internet users to participate online in this historic event.

Thus, an emoji representing a corgi, the queen's favorite dog breed, can now be used by followers of the social network Twitter.

The animal is wearing a purple crown, the color of the jubilee.

According to our colleagues, this emoji will be automatically added at the end of the official hashtags, which should be published in large numbers to comment on the event over the next few days.

Meet PJ the corgi, our Jubilee emoji!

PJ will appear whenever you use #PlatinumJubilee #HM70 #PlatinumPartyatthePalace ⁰#PlatinumJubileePageant ⁰or #TheBigJubileeLunch and we're hoping that as many of you as possible will use PJ to help celebrate the Jubilee here on Twitter.
