In "Bienfait pour vous" this Thursday, senior columnist Cécile Coumau looked at solutions to lift eyelids that can tend to droop with age.

With in particular silicone patches that make it possible to rejuvenate the look without going through surgery.

And you found a "doe look" despite slightly drooping eyelids?

In the program "Bienfait pour vous", this Thursday, the senior columnist, Cécile Coumau, presents her solutions for rejuvenating the look, without having to resort to cosmetic surgery.

The skin of the eyelids, almost devoid of hypodermis, the densest layer of the skin, can tend to fall with age, as our columnist explains.

"Especially since the muscle of the eyelids is overworked. So the skin loses its elasticity, it makes folds," she adds.

A delicate grip

On Europe 1, Cécile Coumau therefore first tested for you patches which come in the form of small silicone adhesives, available in three different sizes.

"For 19.99 euros, you have 64 single-use patches, valid for both men and women," she explains.

Be careful though, the maneuver can be tricky the first few times.

The patch must be positioned in the crease of the eyelid, but the adhesive can sometimes stick to itself.

A certain dexterity is therefore required even if our columnist wants to be reassuring: “afterwards we get the hang of it”, she assures.

Especially since the device does not cause the slightest discomfort on a daily basis.

"The first time I put it on, I had even forgotten to take it off in the evening. In addition, it's invisible, it can't be seen at all", specifies our columnist.

The elastic band option

If despite all the skepticism remains concerning these patches, Cécile Coumau offers an alternative.

It is an elastic band equipped with two combs at each end that you just have to plant in the hair and pass behind the head.

In this way, the skin of the eyelids is slightly stretched and should therefore offer a much more "fine" look.

A solution far from ideal, by the very admission of our columnist.

"It pulls on the hair but not at all on the eyelid. You can feel it a lot. I find that it doesn't work," she admits.

Even the attractive price of 10 euros should not attract crowds.
