China News Service, June 2. According to the Macau Daily News, the Macau SAR’s Novel Coronavirus Infection Response Coordination Center announced that, through consultations through the Zhuhai-Macao Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism, the Macau Health Bureau will be in accordance with Law No. 2/2004 “Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Law”. Article 10 stipulates that from 0:00 a.m. on June 2, people entering from Guangdong Province via the Zhuhai-Macao port or waterway must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days after the sampling date.

The Response Coordination Center stated that non-Macao residents who do not hold the above certificates can be refused entry, and Macao residents must undergo nucleic acid testing immediately; while those leaving the country to Guangdong maintain the requirement to present a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 7 days.

Other entry-exit epidemic prevention requirements remain unchanged.
