A 29-year-old woman, residing in Lunel, in Hérault, was sentenced to four years in prison by the Montpellier Criminal Court for having stabbed her childhood friend.
One of the blows had punctured his lung.
The facts had occurred on the night of April 15 to 16, in his apartment.
The argument took place against a background of alcohol.
At the hearing, she explained that she hit her friend because he stole a letter from her ex.
In this missive, he regretted having raped her… The victim, for his part, did not take civil action, considering that his friend was sick.
Already condemned the day before
The day before this outburst of violence, she had been sentenced by this same court for violence with a weapon under the influence of alcohol.
The judges went beyond the requisitions of the deputy public prosecutor.
