This is reported by the service on its website.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has approved the request of Club-Hotel LLC to acquire the Russian business of McDonald's.

At the same time, the seller has the right to buy the business back on market terms within 15 years,” the statement says.

It is clarified that as part of the transaction, the acquirer will provide the seller of McDonald's Corporation with an option to repurchase 100% of the shares within 15 years at a price determined on the basis of fair market value.

Due to the fact that public catering markets are local, the assessment of the impact of the transaction on competition was carried out within the regions where the companies operate.

According to the department, the deal will not lead to a restriction of competition in the catering market.

Earlier it was reported that the McDonald's network plans to open on June 12 under a new brand, the exact schedule will be known later.

Before that, it also became known that the Moscow government would support the new owner of McDonald's when restarting a chain of fast food restaurants under the Russian brand, but maintaining the established menu and service standards.
