According to the daily, he knew his assailant by sight since he would have had a dispute with him the day before, because of his car which obstructed the passage of the bus.

A heated exchange ensued.

The two attackers still wanted

Seated at a cafe terrace the next day, the man would have recognized the driver and would therefore have attacked him, with an accomplice.

The two attackers had not been found on Wednesday evening, while the scene was filmed by CCTV cameras.

“This act is unacceptable,” reacted Stéphane Le Foll, the mayor (PS) of Le Mans in a press release.

He pledged to meet the unions of Setram, the public transport network, next week.

An investigation has been opened.
