The UAE has achieved the desired goal of the national campaign for the “Covid-19” vaccine, and announced the completion of 100% vaccination and immunization of the target groups in the country.

The campaign targeted the vaccination and immunization of the first line of defense, volunteers, community members of the age groups specified according to the type of vaccination, the elderly and those with chronic diseases whose health condition allows them to take it.

The UAE, through the Ministry of Health and Community Development, worked to provide the vaccine to members of society, in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination and immunization, in order to contribute, in turn, to reducing the number of cases and controlling the “Covid-19” virus.

The desired percentage was achieved by providing the vaccine in government and private health centers for all members of society, in addition to providing stimulant doses, and various approved types of vaccinations, which have proven effective in combating “Covid-19”.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced, yesterday, that 242,364 new examinations were conducted with the aim of early detection and inventory of cases infected with the emerging coronavirus “Covid-19” and those in contact with them and isolating them.

The intensification of investigation procedures and the expansion of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 575 new cases of the emerging coronavirus.

Thus, the total number of registered cases is 909,222.

It also announced the recovery of 449 new cases of people infected with the emerging coronavirus "Covid-19" and their full recovery from symptoms of the disease.

Thus, the total number of cured cases is 892,687.
