To show solidarity with Ukraine, a piano concert was held on the night of the 1st at the EU-European Union's representative office in Minato-ku, Tokyo, inviting people who had evacuated from Ukraine.

In addition to refugees from Ukraine, ambassadors to Japan from Ukraine and European countries, and Prime Minister Kishida were invited to the concert.

The songs were lined with works by representative Ukrainian and European composers, and the audience listened to the tone of the piano.

After that, Chargé d'Affaires Ziemers of the Permanent Mission to Japan handed over the collected donations to Ukrainian Ambassador Korsunsky to help with humanitarian assistance.

Ambassador Korsunsky thanked him for his support and said, "The situation is very difficult. We will not give up on the fight, so please support us."

Oksana Villa, who said that her home in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, was destroyed by an attack and evacuated to Japan with her two children, said, "The performance really touched my heart. I'm under heavy attack every day, but I don't want anyone to have this kind of experience. "
