  After receiving the report, the Office of the State Council Earthquake Relief Headquarters and the Emergency Management Department immediately launched a three-level national earthquake emergency response.

  After the earthquake, the State Council Earthquake Relief Office and the Emergency Management Department continued to dispatch and deploy personnel for search and rescue, disaster verification, earthquake monitoring, mass resettlement and secondary disaster prevention and other earthquake relief work, and dispatched national comprehensive fire rescue forces to the earthquake area.

The Lushan County Brigade of the Sichuan Provincial Fire Rescue Corps dispatched 15 people and 3 vehicles to the epicenter. 261 people from Sichuan Fire Rescue and Forest Fire are rushing to the epicenter. 5 heavy and 13 light earthquake rescue teams in Sichuan Province have been dispatched and 1,280 people. Eight heavy and 23 light earthquake rescue teams from Guizhou, Yunnan and Chongqing corps have prepared for cross-regional reinforcements.
