“In 2022, Roskomnadzor has already removed 64,000 prohibited materials in only the three most dangerous categories of information for children — drugs, suicide propaganda, and child pornography,” the agency said in a Telegram message.
As noted in Roskomnadzor, the protection of children is one of the priorities of the RKN.
All prohibited content identified by the department's employees is transferred to the competent authorities to search for and punish criminals who disseminate this kind of information.
Earlier it was reported that Roskomnadzor identified and removed more than 117 thousand fakes about Russia's special military operation in Ukraine since the end of February.
