Over the summer House of Councilors election, the Liberal Democratic Party has decided to support official candidates in the Yamagata constituency, and has completed the support work in all constituencies.

There are 32 single-person districts nationwide, and the number of candidates on the opposition side is limited, and so far only 11 constituencies are the composition in which the ruling and opposition parties confront each other.

Regarding the Yamagata constituency in the Upper House election, the Liberal Democratic Party executive office has been making adjustments in the direction of forgoing the candidate's support, considering that the incumbent of the Democratic Party for the People who agreed with this year's budget is planning to run. In response to the opposition from local local councilors and the executive office of the House of Councilors, we were re-adjusting the candidates.

Then, the Liberal Democratic Party will hold a round-robin election contest headquarters meeting to formally decide to support new official candidates, and will support candidates in all constituencies nationwide.

On the other hand, it is said that it will affect the victory or defeat of the entire election, and there are 32 capacity in the whole country in the "one-person district", and the opposition party unified the candidates in all the previous and last elections. This time, the Constitutional Democratic Party and the Communist Party have a policy of giving priority to and limiting the constituencies that are likely to win.

For this reason, only 11 constituencies are currently in the composition of confrontation between the ruling and opposition parties.
