Erdogan: Sweden and Finland have not yet fulfilled Turkey's wish list

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a speech to the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) lawmakers on Wednesday that Sweden and Finland had not yet made a written pledge to distance themselves from organizations that Turkey considers terrorist.

"There is no concrete document that can address our reservations. It is not possible for us to believe pledges that are not backed up by written documents," Erdogan was quoted by Bloomberg News Agency as saying.

European countries, including the Netherlands, France and Germany, allow the Kurdistan Workers Party and its affiliate organizations in Syria to seek donations.

Turkey also withdrew from the strategic cooperation agreement with Greece in protest of the recent policies pursued by the government in Athens.
