Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese led the new government officials to take the oath of office in the capital Canberra on June 1, local time.

  The day's ceremony took place at the Governor's Palace, where Albanese led government officials to take the oath of office to the Governor-General of Australia, David Hurley.

Among them, cabinet members include: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Richard Mars, Foreign Minister Huang Yingxian, Treasurer Jim Chalmers, Minister of Finance and Minister of Women's Affairs and Minister of Public Service Katie Gallagher, Minister of Trade and Tourism Minister and Special Minister of State Don Farrell, Minister of Health and Aged Care Mark Butler, Attorney-General and Cabinet Secretary Mark Dreyfus, Minister of Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen, Minister of Home Affairs and Network Security Secretary Claire O'Neill.

  At a press conference in Canberra on May 31, Albanese said a record 10 women ministers were in the current cabinet.

  Albanese was sworn in in Canberra on May 23, officially becoming Australia's 31st Prime Minister.
