The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has announced that at least 4149 civilians have died in Ukraine between February 24 and May 31 as Russia's military invasion has begun.

Of these, 267 are children.


By region, 2371 people have been confirmed dead in the eastern states of Donetsk and Luhansk, and 1778 people have been confirmed dead in other areas such as the capital cities of Kieu and eastern Kharkiv.

The number of injured citizens is estimated to be 4,945.


However, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has indicated that the actual number of casualties will greatly exceed this, saying that casualties in eastern Mariupol and other areas where fierce fighting continued have not yet been confirmed. ..
