In the 8th national simultaneous local election held today (1st), exit polls from 3 broadcasting companies including SBS showed that the people's power was dominant in 10 places and the Democratic Party prevailed in 4 places.



And it was predicted that close battles would take place in Daejeon, Sejong, and Gyeonggi.



For the Gyeonggi Governor, which both the opposition and opposition parties consider to be a winner, 48.8% of Democratic Party candidate Kim Dong-yeon and 49.4% of People's Strength candidate Kim Eun-hye are close within the margin of error.



Candidate Oh Se-hoon took the first place in the prediction, with 40.2% of Democratic Party candidate Song Young-gil and 58.7% of People's Strength candidate Oh Se-hoon.



For Incheon Mayor, Democratic Party candidate Park Nam-chun with 45.7 percent and People's Strength candidate Yoo Jeong-bok 51.2 percent, leading candidate Yoo Jeong-bok predicted.



The mayor of Daejeon is close within the margin of error with 49.6% of Democratic Party candidate Huh Tae-jung and 50.4% of People's Strength candidate Lee Jang-woo.



The mayor of Sejong is close to within the margin of error with 49.4% of Democratic Party candidate Lee Chun-hee and 50.6% of People's Strength candidate Choi Min-ho.



For the Chungnam governor, Democratic Party candidate Yang Seung-jo ranked first with 45.9% and People's Strength candidate Kim Tae-heum with 54.1%, with Kim Tae-heum taking the top spot.



For the Chungcheongbuk-do governor, Democratic Party candidate Roh Young-min with 43.5% and People's Strength candidate Kim Young-hwan with 56.5%, candidate Kim Young-hwan ranked first in the prediction.



For Gangwon governor, Democratic Party candidate Lee Kwang-jae 45.1% and People's Strength candidate Kim Jin-tae 54.9%, with Kim Jin-tae leading the prediction.



For Daegu mayor, Democratic Party candidate Seo Jae-heon ranked first with 18.4 percent and People's Strength candidate Hong Joon-pyo with 79.4 percent.



For the Gyeongbuk governor, candidate Lim Mi-ae of the Democratic Party of Korea received 21% of the vote and Candidate Cheol-woo Lee of People's Strength with 79%.



For Busan mayor, Democratic Party candidate Seong-wan Byun with 33.2% and People's Strength candidate Park Hyung-joon with 66.9%, Park Hyung-joon took first place in the prediction.



For Ulsan Mayor, Democratic Party candidate Song Cheol-ho received 39.2% and People's Strength candidate Kim Doo-gyeom 60.8%.



For Gyeongnam Governor, Democratic Party candidate Yang Mun-seok received 30.2% and People's Strength candidate Park Wan-su 65.3%, and candidate Park Wan-su ranked first in the prediction.



In the Gwangju mayor, Candidate Kang Ki-jung took the lead with 77.4% of Democratic Party candidate Ki-jung Kang and 15.4% of People's Strength candidate Joo Ki-hwan.



For the Jeonbuk governor, Democratic Party candidate Kim Kwan-young 82.4% and People's Strength candidate Jo Bae-sook 17.6%, with Kim Kwan-young leading the prediction.

For the Jeju governor, Candidate Oh Young-hoon of the Democratic Party of Korea received 56.5% of the vote and Candidate Hyang-jin Heo of the People's Strength with 39.1%, and Candidate Oh Young-hoon ranked first in the prediction.



The exit poll for the national election for regional heads of local governments by the three terrestrial broadcasters was conducted for about 100,000 voters at 631 polling places across the country from 6 am to 6 pm this morning.
