“The implementation of the agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021 was considered with an emphasis on resolving specific issues related to establishing a peaceful life in the region and strengthening stability, unblocking economic ties and transport communications,” - says a message on the Kremlin website.

Aliyev briefed Putin on the May 22 meeting in Brussels with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The parties confirmed their intention to further deepen the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership.

Earlier, during a telephone conversation, Putin discussed with Aliyev the work on the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.
