Israel accuses Iran of stealing IAEA documents

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett accused Iran of stealing classified documents from the International Atomic Energy Agency and using them to conceal evidence in the context of its nuclear program.

Bennett said in a tweet via "Twitter" that Iran "stole secret documents of the International Atomic Energy Agency and used this information to systematically evade inspections" related to its nuclear program.

In his tweet, Bennett included links to several documents in Farsi, presented as classified and translated into English, as well as photographs.

The Wall Street Journal revealed a few days ago that Iran had obtained secret documents from the International Agency, which helped it formulate plans to "evade" the Agency's investigations regarding its past activities.

The newspaper pointed out that this case dates back to the beginning of the third millennium, and that the records that reveal its occurrence were among the documents of the Iranian nuclear archive that Israel obtained after an intelligence operation it carried out in Tehran in early 2018.
