German General Kater called the taking of Donbass by Russia under control a matter of days or weeks

In his opinion, Russian forces will take Donbass under control.

Kater added that, in his estimation, it is a matter of days or weeks, RIA Novosti reports his statement. 

Earlier, the headquarters of the territorial defense of the DPR announced the liberation of 222 settlements in the republic from Ukrainian troops.

On May 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the liberation of Krasny Liman from Ukrainian nationalists.
