The MP positively assessed this initiative, but expressed doubts about the possibility of its implementation.

“This can be written not on cigarette packs, but also on other sources of information.

The initiative is good, but how feasible it is, I have doubts,” Tumusov explained.

The parliamentarian noted that when such inscriptions appear, questions may arise about the reliability of data on the amount of spending.

“Some will say that this is reliable, others will say that it is unreliable,” the expert added.

Earlier in Russia, it was proposed to place information on the annual expenses of a smoker on cigarette packages.

According to the legislator, an inscription could appear on a pack of cigarettes stating that a regular smoker spends an average amount on cigarettes comparable, for example, to a trip to the sea or the cost of an expensive mobile device.
