The minister believes that the embargo will make it possible to end Europe's dependence on Russian energy resources. 

Earlier, the press service of the European Commission announced that the EU ban on the purchase of Russian crude oil will come into effect six months after the entry into force of the sanctions, the ban on petroleum products - after eight months.
