Regarding this, Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno said at a press conference after the Cabinet meeting, "I heard that the infection route is unknown. The participant had symptoms of sore throat yesterday, so when he took an antigen test at a medical institution, the infection was found. It was confirmed, and we are currently starting medical treatment at an accommodation medical treatment facility in Oita prefecture. "



He added, "I am not aware that there will be changes in the mitigation of border measures. Also, based on this case, I would like to continue to verify how to respond when positive persons occur and reflect it in the guidelines." 6 He acknowledged that there will be no change in the policy of accepting foreign tourists, which is scheduled to be resumed from June 10th, and the relaxation of border measures from the 1st of March.
