The Ajman Civil Defense has identified seven things that may lead to burning cars in light of the high temperatures in the summer.

And published warnings entitled "Safety in the Summer",

in which they identified seven things that may expose the car to fire if it is kept inside the car with high heat, namely:

Gas bottles, cigarette lighters, portable charger, phone battery, electric scooter, electronic cigarette, hand sanitizer spray bottle, and perfume spray bottle, indicating that all of them may explode except for sterilizers that may cause parts of the car to catch fire.

She stated that the rate of car fire accidents in the summer has increased in recent years, and that it results in human and material losses, calling for safety and security measures to be taken to avoid such accidents.

The administration explained that the causes of car fires are the failure to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance of the vehicle, high engine temperature, and leaving flammable materials in the vehicle.

It identified six measures to avoid car fires, including daily monitoring of water and engine oil cooling rates, regular maintenance, refraining from smoking and stopping the engine when refueling the vehicle, closing the fuel tank cap tightly to prevent leakage, keeping and training in its use, and keeping a first aid bag and training in its use. .
