The place where the two men in their 20s were shot dead is a schoolyard framed by three different preschools.

200 children walk here and there are still blood stains on the ground where the children usually play.

"Shall we stay?"

All preschools are closed but many parents have not been reached by the information.

SVT's team talks to more people who can turn in the door.

- It is both scary and tragic, says Daniella Khouri.

I talked to my husband yesterday about whether we should really leave our children here?

And if we're even going to stay here?

Stick to the facts

It has been just over a week since a man in his 30s was found dead in a parking lot in another place in Varberga.

Even then, a shooting had taken place, but the police have not been able to confirm that the deceased man was shot.

Whether the two shootings have anything to do with each other is too early to say, according to the police.

On social media and in other contexts, however, there is plenty of speculation.

Something that the leisure center manager Magnus Fredriksson must try to handle when he and the staff prepare to receive children and young people in the area.

- What we can do is listen to the young people, he says.

We are also very careful to try to stop all kinds of speculation and talk about sticking to the facts.

It is important for several reasons, but above all out of respect for the affected families.
