The decree entitled "On Ways of Further Integration of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation" was published on Gagloev's website.

In the document, the president noted that he fully supports the citizens' initiative for the further integration of South Ossetia and Russia.

According to the decree, consultations with the Russian side should be held, given the "uncertainty of the legal consequences of the issue" submitted to the referendum, and also recognizing "the inadmissibility of a unilateral decision of the referendum on issues affecting the legitimate rights and interests of the Russian Federation."

By the same decree, Gagloev instructed to approve the composition of the South Ossetian delegation for consultations with Russia.

The delegation included President Gagloev himself, Chairman of the Parliament Alan Tadtaev, Chairman of the Supreme Court Olesya Kochieva, Chairman of the CEC Emilia Gagiev, acting.

Foreign Minister Dmitry Medoev and presidential adviser Konstantin Kochiev.

Former President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov on May 13 signed a decree on the appointment of a referendum on July 17 on the country's entry into Russia.

It was assumed that when voting, people would have to answer the question: "Do you support the unification of the Republic of South Ossetia and Russia?"

Bibilov noted that consultations with Russian colleagues on this issue were held.
