On Monday, the police arrested six men who are suspected of having been involved in the riots in Malmö this Easter.

The men were questioned on Monday morning.

A man was arrested and five of them were released, which Sydsvenskan was the first to report on.

- A man has been arrested on suspicion of violent rioting and sabotage against blue light activities.

The next step is further questioning of the detainee, says Tanja Johansson, prosecutor at Södra Skåne's prosecutor's office, to SVT Nyheter Skåne.

The arrested man is suspected of involvement in the incident that occurred at Skånegården on April 16, when, among other things, counter-protesters tried to get over the police roadblocks and a car drove into the roadblock.

One person was then arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but was later released.

Another incident that the police are investigating concerns the violence that took place on Bennets väg in Rosengård on 16-17 April, when, among other things, a city bus was set on fire.

Are you planning to bring in more people in this case?

- It may be relevant that we collect more in the future, says prosecutor Tanja Johansson.
