The possibility of the spread of monkeypox among the population of Russia is assessed as low, since today there are restrictions on air traffic between countries, RIA Novosti writes.
Rospotrebnadzor clarified that measures are being taken to stop the possibility of importing and spreading the disease in Russia.
Earlier, the World Health Organization reported 257 confirmed cases of monkeypox and about 120 suspected cases in 23 countries.
