President Yoon Seok-yeol said today (30th) that, in response to concerns that the execution of the supplementary budget (additional budget) could stimulate inflation, "Small self-employed people are out of breath, so think about that first."

On the way to the presidential office in Yongsan on the morning of the same day, President Yoon responded to a reporter's point that 'there is a risk of inflation due to an additional budget', saying, "Then why not do an extra budget?"

He continued, "We must manage the price problem in detail," but emphasized the urgency of compensating for the loss of the self-employed through an additional budget.

President Yoon then headed to his Oval Office without any other questions asked.

On the night of the 27th, when the ruling and opposition parties failed to agree on the passage of the supplementary budget bill, President Yoon said in his remarks, "Small business owners and the self-employed are out of breath, and it is really regrettable that the National Assembly is not held today."
