The Liberals' criticism of gains in independent schools is a complete reversal compared to previous policies.

- It is unreasonable that you can withdraw profits, if there is even a surplus, if you do not have a good quality, says Pehrson and exemplifies with the schools that the Swedish Schools Inspectorate has been forced to close.

According to the Liberals, the quality of education must be ensured through mandatory requirements for schools' student health, classrooms, teacher density and libraries.

The Green Party is one of the parties that has most strongly opposed gains in the school world.

Spokeswoman Märta Stenevi is cautiously positive about the Liberals' new stance.

- If the Liberals are prepared to support a profit ban and that we thereby stop the market school, then of course we are prepared to receive help.

But the Liberals must understand the basic premise, says Stenevi.

- A company will be driven by an interest in wine and thus opt out of the customers who are unprofitable.

Children should not be products in a marketing school.
