“The CAA of the region appeals to the leadership of the Russian Federation with a request to use the capabilities of Russian telecommunications companies to help restore cellular communications in the region.

This is vital for our region and will be gratefully received by all Kherson residents,” the statement says.

Earlier, the head of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevhen Balikiy, said that mobile communications, which were turned off in the region by the Ukrainian authorities, would be restored in the near future.
