In Jerusalem in the Middle East, Israeli far-right supporters calling for the exclusion of Palestinians marched through the Palestinian-inhabited area of the old town.

Palestinians and Israeli security forces who oppose it have clashed and injured, and there is concern that the exchange of violence will escalate in the future.

The 29th in Israel marks the anniversary of Palestine's occupation of East Jerusalem, the capital of the future nation, in the past wars.

On this day when Israeli patriotism grows, many Palestinians in the old town are in Jerusalem, with far-right supporters calling for the exclusion of Palestinians, raising the Israeli flag and shouting, "Jerusalem belongs to us." We marched in the area where we live.

Approximately 3,000 Israeli security forces were deployed around the old town, banning Palestinians from the outside, and some Israeli security forces collided with Palestinians, resulting in injuries.

Hamas, an Islamic organization that has an armed struggle with Israel, has called for a change in the route over this march, but the Israeli government, led by hard-line right-wing Prime Minister Bennett, has confirmed that the march will continue on schedule.

Last year, such a march triggered Hamas to launch rockets, which led to a military clash that killed more than 200 people, including retaliation by the Israeli side for air strikes. There is also concern that the exchange of escalation will occur.
