“Now it doesn’t look like that is the case,” he said.

As Viktor Orbane himself said, there are no decisions yet on the oil embargo against Russia in the European Union.

He urged the EU to change the approach - "first decisions, then sanctions", as we are talking about energy, "this is risky."

On May 24, the Financial Times reported that the Hungarian prime minister considered it counterproductive to further discuss the oil embargo against Russia in the European Union without agreeing on alternatives.

Orban also noted that Brussels is abusing power in the European Union and imposing its ideology on countries.

According to him, the cultural distance between Brussels and Budapest is increasing.
