An equestrian acrobat was injured by one of her horses this Saturday during a performance as part of the Gare au gorille festival in Pleumeur-Bodou (Côtes-d'Armor).

The animal, a black Percheron, bit the young woman on the arm.

The other performances of the horsewoman's company have been cancelled.

An operation the next day

The victim was taken care of by firefighters and hospitalized in Brest (Finistère), reports

The news concerning the health of the artist was quickly reassuring.

She underwent surgery on Sunday morning but neither the tendons nor the muscles of her arm were affected, the festival organizer said.

He also explained that the acrobat should be able to get back on horseback without waiting too long.

"I should recover without sequelae", for his part announced the person concerned.

She explained that she particularly regretted not having had the opportunity to "share with the public" because of the incident.
