The glass-bottomed Bach Long Bridge (the name means "white dragon") is 632 meters and hangs over a lush valley in Son La province in northwestern Vietnam.

The floor is made of tempered glass and up to 450 people can walk on the bridge at the same time.

It is located at an altitude of 150 meters between two mountain peaks and is supplemented by a 342 meter long walkway that goes around a cliff side.

- I think about what happens if I fall down, so I hardly dare to continue!

says visitor Vi Thi Thu on his way across the glass bridge.

During the inauguration ceremony this weekend, a Guinness World Record representative was on hand to hand over the certificate.

The previous record was the 526-meter-long glass-bottomed bridge in Guangdong, China.
