[I declare that the amendment has been passed!]

The first supplementary budget bill of the Yun Seok-yeol government and this year's second supplementary budget bill passed the plenary session of the National Assembly last night.

The core of this supplementary budget plan is to provide subsidies for small business owners and self-employed people who have suffered damage from COVID-19.

Accordingly, the total budget, including 23 trillion won for regional relocation, is 62 trillion won, a record high.

After President Yoon Seok-yeol passed the supplementary budget bill to the National Assembly on the 13th, the opposition and opposition parties have been negotiating a marathon, and a dramatic agreement was reached yesterday, the last day of the first half of the National Assembly.

It is the result of the ruling party increasing its support target and the opposition party taking a step back, not insisting on retroactive application right away.

[Kwon Seong-dong / People's Power Floor Leader: President Yun Seok-yeol also called me several times.

It would be good to quickly finalize the supplementary budget plan by largely reflecting the demands of the Democratic Party...

[Park Hong-geun/Democratic Party Leader: We have cooperated greatly with the ruling party in order to prioritize the livelihood of the people and stabilize the state.

It is analyzed that both the opposition and the opposition must have felt burdened by the delay in compensation for small business losses ahead of the local elections.

However, the ruling and opposition parties plan to continue negotiations in the future, as no consensus has been reached on the issue of fairness and retroactive application of loss compensation, which were the biggest issues.
