According to the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC), civilians from Makeyevka and Donetsk suffered.

Among the wounded there are pensioners and small children.

“Thus, the total number of civilian casualties from the attacks of the AFU on May 29, 2022 is 24 people,” the JCCC noted.

Eduard Basurin, deputy head of the People's Militia Department of the DPR, said earlier that the Ukrainian military had increased the intensity of shelling of Donetsk and Gorlovka, firing more than 100 shells at them.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview with the French TV channel TF1, said that the Ukrainian army and the militants of the national battalions use civilians as human shields.
