“In connection with the establishment of a calmer environment for a fruitful dialogue to create stability for the transitional period, the head of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, today issued a decree on lifting the state of emergency in all parts of the country,” RIA Novosti quoted the statement as saying. 

On October 25, 2021, a state of emergency was introduced in Sudan and the Transitional Sovereign Council and the government of the country were dissolved.
