Pope Francis has appointed Archbishop Yoo Heung-sik as Cardinal, the highest cleric of the Catholic Church.
Archbishop Yoo Heung-sik, who was born in 1951 and is 71 years old this year, was appointed as the first Korean to be appointed Minister of the Congregation for the Clergy last year.
Archbishop Yu is the fourth Korean priest to be appointed a cardinal.
