With the June 1 local elections just three days away, the people's power is going to the final gathering of supporters with the goal of reclaiming local power.

The People's Power, which became the ruling party, aims to win 'at least 9 places + Alpha' including the metropolitan area in this election for regional leaders.

Although the party judges that it has an overall advantage in view of the results of public opinion polls and its own surveys, it is difficult to slow the tension as there is a close battle in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong area.

In terms of region, it is the judgment of the people that the prevailing trend continues in Seoul and North Chungcheong while it has a clear advantage in the five provinces of the Yeongnam region: Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangbuk-do.

In addition, there is a mixed expectation that Incheon, Chungnam, Daejeon, and Gangwon are viewed as 'competitive advantage' and that in the end, even around 9 to 10 places can be conquered.

Accordingly, in Yeongnam, which is a vegetable garden, constituency lawmakers are mobilized to establish a fixed vote, while in the metropolitan area and central gardens, the 'two-track' strategy of concentrating firepower with the leadership of the party is continuing.

CEO Jun-seok Lee starts in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, and goes around northern Gyeonggi-do, including Paju, Uijeongbu, Dongducheon, and Yangju, to collect votes.

Next, the party leadership will visit Daejeon all at once to hold an on-site meeting of the Central Election Commission, and appeal to the citizens for support in the Sejong area where the government complex is located.

The Chungcheong region is a contested area in which the opposition and opposition candidates are fiercely competing, and it is an expression of the will to retake the four Chungcheong regions (Chungnam, Chungbuk, Daejeon, and Sejong) and lead to national victory.
